Policy Statement Operations

PREAMBLE

London Muslim Mosque Board of Directors holds direct accountability and responsibility for general London Muslim Mosque operations, and general operations of the Mosque.

POLICY

London Muslim Mosque Board of Directors holds responsibility for:

• Recruitment and hiring of the Operations Manager

• Performance management, and termination of the Operations Manager.

• For reference, the Board of Directors is also responsible for recruitment, hiring, performance management, and termination of the Principals of each Department of the London Muslim Mosque in consultation with the Oversight Committee of each Department as per the London Muslim Mosque Departments Policy Statement.

The Operations Manager is accountable to the London Muslim Mosque Board of Directors through the Chair of the board, and is responsible for:

• All employment matters for Mosque staff according to London Muslim Mosque Policy Statements and Policies, and the Employment Standards Act.

• Overseeing the overall London Muslim Mosque Budget according to the approved budget and the relevant Policy Statement and Policies.

• Oversight of general facilities maintenance, and security of property and buildings at London Muslim Mosque.
